They are from Bangladesh!!!! |
Ayooo how's everyone doin?!?!?! This week was super fire. We had a finding competition in the mission for who could share the most messages. Me and my comp put up some good numbers. We got up on Thursday early and got all are studies done then just had a lesson and like 10 hours of knocking doors. That was pretty rough at times but we got to talk to a lot of people so it was pretty worth it.
Had some interesting experiences with foreigners this week. We met dudes from the Philippines at the harbor and fished with them. Caught some mackerel. And then met some guys on the street from Bangladesh, they were super cool. They Makin us Bangladesh food soon😋
Then we had basketball with our friend who's American. And these two Nigerian dudes from the number one High school in Hokkaido walk in. I had heard all about them. But it was lit. They were slamming it like crazy. But I was cookin them a bit. Yur
We also got to visit a older member here who is from Utah. And he is married to a Japanese women. He can't come to church very easily anymore, but he was so kind. And then we went to Urakawa which is the group that joins our branch for church on zoom. It was like a 2 hr drive. And they have a American dad and son that go there with 3 Japanese grandmas. And they were all the nicest people ever.
One grandma brought baby chick's. They were cute.
Spiritual
On the way to Urakawa I was talking to the member of the high council that was taking us. And we talked about the importance of daily study for about 2 hours. And I felt pretty good already just at the fact that I could understand the whole time. But then he gave his talk about that topic. And he shared a part from a talk from President Nelson in 2016. Pres. Nelson said that through daily study he was able to change. And if someone as kind hearted and christlike as Pres. Nelson can see a change in himself then imagine the change we can have in ourselves through things like daily study and following Christ.
Love you all!! I hope its another 素晴らしいweek!
