Almost Halloween!!๐๐

This was another awesome week!! I'm getting a bit more used to everything now which is nice, so I don't feel too knew.We had a ton of fun experiences this week, the first one was we went Cabbage harvesting and hopped on this big tractor machine thingy and it shot the cabbages up top and we would inspect them and cut them down a bit then sort them into crates. And then the wife cooked us lunch after and it was bussin!!!! We also got to go to calligraphy this week which was so cool and the sensei's Kanji was legit perfection. But he taught us how to write some cool characters and it was so insane how much you have to think about while writing it or else it just looks trash like mine did. Mid writing a character he would be like moving our bodies around so the brush would drag correct and that was funny. For dinner on Sunday we got to go to Bishop's house and feed their pigs and dig out sweet potatos which was fun. The pigs were MASSIVE and they were like not ugly either which was lit. We also got to play games with our Bishops grandkids who are 1 and 4, and they were soo cute! The 4 year old would look at me weird though when I would try to speak Japanese haha. She was the best.We also got to go to one of the Elders in our missions aunts house and her family is not members. And the Grandma talked to me for about 30 min saying pretty much the same sentence over and over which was basically "Its so fun being with you, the food is yummy have anything!!" So I ate a lot!! And the dad after asked how I was so thin even though I could eat so much haha. And the mom also had pumpkins for us there to carve with their daughter and I got to make a cool dragon pumpkin which was pretty lit. And they were the sweetest people ever, so I really hope that we can keep meeting with them and talk a bit more about the gospel.I had a really cool experience this week getting to go streeting with Welling ้ท่ who is one of my roommates from the other companionship, and he has only been here 6 more weeks than me. And we talked to maybe 25 people in an hour, and most of them were not long conversations, but there were a few where we got to share a very simple message about the book of mormon and Joy. And it was so fun just both of us trying to understand these crazy words being spoken to us.General Confrence!!I loved like all the Talks!! But there was a cool one from Elder Budge who was a Tokyo Mission President. And he shared the Kanji for "be still". I loved this simple message of how we gain strength and comfort through slowing down and communicating with God. Sometimes we all need to know we've done enough and then just have faith that God will do the rest.Love and miss you all!!-Larkins ้ท่
