こんにちはみなさん！
This week was my first week in the field, and I've only actually been here like 3 days, but it was so lit!! It is so much fun all the things we get to do. And all the amazing people we teach!! I love the people so much, the Members are the absolute best!! And any person we find on the street is just the kindest ever. And even if they don't want to hear from us, they listen and then just say sorry sorry sorry I'm okay, thank you. So it is very nice especially because it makes me feel like I didn't totally mess up haha.
So I'm in Obihiro!! I love my area it's been perfect weather! And my comp is the best! His name is Elder Liechty and he is the nicest guy around. And I've learned a lot from him already. I also live with another companionship, so it's a little packed in our two person apartment but it's fun! And I think we get to all move into a new apartment that is bigger soon!!
We do lots of game nights and different activity's with the members and friends from around. And also English class which is so much fun. Right when I got to my area we actually went straight to the church and didn't even take my bags home, and we had English class. And what a blessing that was, because I didn't even have to speak Japanese haha. But they language is getting a little better, my hearing is definitely getting a bit better.
We had a lunch with our friend Ryuichirou!! I love him! He played football at Obihiro University. And they have 15 guys on the team and now that he graduated, he coaches! We had a awesome lesson with him, about a lot honestly. He has heard about Christianity in a lot of American movies, so he wanted to learn about it. And so we taught him a lot! And after he looked up my highlights from Football on Hudl, and we watched through my tape and he said he was gonna show it to his team haha. We gave him a Book of Mormon, and he said he could come to church on the 20th, but we have to go to his teams last game in Obihiro after haha. So I'm pumped to get to go to that!!
I also got to play ping pong and they are INSANE!! But it made me happy that I could beat them sometimes haha, it was getting pretty competitive haha, but they are like the nicest people ever so it was so fun.
My Mission President and his wife, the Toma's are the absolute best and made us meals when we first got here. I love them so much.

This scripture we have shared in a few lessons so far, and it is so amazing to see the people take their first step in faith and just say okay I will try praying. Because that's all it takes is that little step of intent and trying!!
Sorry if this one was a little long, but I had such good experiences being here for the first time! And I can't wait for all the things to come.
