no more playing catch for me...

The snow is starting

First full week in Shibetsu and I love it! This area is super special. I've been able to get to know the members so much more already and they are soo amazing. And me and my companion are a few hours away from any other missionaries so it's pretty fun just getting to handle this whole area.  

No More  Playing Catch:(

So I started off this week on a high note. We were walking to the grocery store and it was about 28° out, and I saw a Dad and son throwing a baseball. And so I asked them if I could join in and my first throw may have been a little hard but I really didn't mean to. And it went through the sons glove and hit him in the face. But luckily it was a soft rubber baseball so he was totally okay and like didn't even flinch. But yea I felt so bad. 

FHE:

We have 2 Family Home Evenings a week. One in the University city Nayoro which is like a 25 min train. And we get to do it at our branch presidents home and his wife and mom join us. And his mom まさ姉妹 is the funniest おばちゃん(grandma) ever. It was my first time meeting her and after only the second round of the dice game we were playing she slapped me because she rolled a 0. So she is now like my favorite person ever. And the other Family Home Evening here in Shibetsu. And we only get about 2 people coming here. And one of them has to leave early every week because her husband gets home from work around 7 and I don't think he likes the church very much. But she always comes! And the Brother from the ward that comes listens to our spiritual messages by himself every time but still is so willing to come.

Shibetsu Gossip Club:

We do service at a children's library every week and sew together little children learning books out of felt. Which is a lit of fun. And also is just like 5 おばちゃん(grandmas) gossiping about all the doctors in town. But it's awesome. They are also the only ones with the needle and sew so fast I don't even know how.

Christmas Concert:

We got to do a surprise trip to Sapporo again! My companion got asked to play piano at the Christmas Concert for all of Hokkaido. And it was really awesome. I got to sing in the choir with the missionaries and the stake choir. And I got to see some members from Obihiro!

I really liked these scriptures because it is just a good reminder to me that no one is perfect. And it seems hard a lot of times, but it's better to just love everyone. 

Oh yea and it was my companions Birthday this week! I got him a little Bday hat and a sign, too bad I got the wrong sign though. So yea you can see that in the picture below:)
