This was a crazy week!!! We had Stake Conference and transfer calls! And I'm getting transfered this Thursday to Shibetsu! At first I thought Shibetsu was one of the bigger cities, but when I looked at the map I realized I was definitely wrong and it actually only has 20,000 people! And some elders said they think they were rounding up with that count haha. So that's gonna be a big change! But I'm super excited to get to go there and be apart of the Inaka life! (Country side)
Exchange ish Thingy!
This week my Trainer and the other younger Elder that's here's Trainer both are the Zone Leaders so they left us and went to Nemuro. So there were two pretty new guys walking around Obihiro and we were balling! We actually did so much stuff that day and I don't even know how!!
We got to teach a English Lesson and also later that day a Japanese lesson to someone who just moved here. And then went to the park to find people and found a member from Sapporo!
And me and Welling 長老 got to play basketball and got like 20 peoples contacts because they all thought we were famous on YouTube or something haha. So that's definitely a very fun aspect about Japan.
Stake Confrence!
Stake conference was really awesome and it was amazing to get to see all the friends from our ward! All the missionaries in the Stake sang as the choir on Saturday night. And so we got to sit up behind the speaker the whole time. And it was pretty hard that I couldn't understand really anything they said. But by getting to see the faces of all the members and the joy in their faces listening to these talks I felt the Spirit so strong. And that was definitely my highlight.
Transfer Calls!
The next best thing was our Mission President sneaking up on all the missionaries after stake conference and showing them the Transfer board. He is the funniest man ever!! And when he showed me I was with a bunch of the youth from our ward so that was pretty sad but maybe someday I will get to get transfered back!!
