Trick or Treat🎃👻

Another awesome week in Obihiro! This week was really really good for some reason. I think the best part was getting to visit so many members which is sometimes hard to do here since they are all always busy and the kids are so busy!! But we also got to do some good sport finding this week which was super fun, and I always think it works pretty good. My bike's gears also broke this week while we were riding up a big hill. So those like 30 min bike rides have been pretty fun now haha.

Halloween!
Halloween was so awesome but it was a little weird for it being like my first Holiday and you don't see it around as much here. But!! We have an amazing family in the ward, the Hayashi Family!! And they invited all 7 missionaries in our area to their home which is about 45 min out and is in a super small town. And we got to have dinner and desert with their family! But my favorite part was Reverse Trick or Treating! There youngest kid Noah wanted to take his friends some candy since they don't do trick or treating and so we made some little bags of candy and all the Elders got to go with Noah and his dad. And his friends were soo happy to get that little gift from Noah!! And also those people have seen missionaries before since they are in such a far out area so they were really curious about who all the white guys were haha. But that was an awesome Halloween thanks to the Hayashi's!

Sports Finding!
We got to play Mini golf this week which is soo fun! And I almost blew all money on a club yesterday because you only need one. But all the courses close down this week for the winter. So that was probably good for me haha. But we got to go and meet tons of different people! This sport is the in-between of regular golf and mini golf, and it's so awesome. We also got to play mini volley ball again which went really good, and the ladies have really started to talk to us more lately which is really awesome!

Friends Lessons!
We had a lesson with a less active member and he had a really sad outlook on where he thought he was going after this life. But we were able to do a little lesson about the Plan of Slavation and during that lesson I was able to speak Japanese better than ever before by far. And I know that even though my Japanese was still not much, that through the Spirit he was able to realize that he is going to be okay. And that was a huge light to me this week.

Scripture!!
2 Nephi 22:1-2:
I loved these scriptures and the message it gives. God is always there, and even when we mess up we can be comforted. Everyone needs the Lords salvation and if we will just trust in him we can gain so much strength!

Hope you all have an amazing week!
