This was another really good week. Saturday was just so lit this week. Maybe my best day so far, so this email is just some of the stuff that happened that day.
There's a older couple that lives between us and the church so we see them about every day, and they are always so nice and say hello. So we thought we would do their snow removal one morning. But it turns out the sewer that you use to dump the snow in can only be used after 1 on Saturdays. Sooo yea it was awkward when her and her neighbor came out at 7 am and was like oh no haha. But she was super nice about it, and invited us to come back later for bread that she made!
Christmas Party!
We had four friends make it to our party and they were all so awesome. And so we're the members! They made a lot of awesome food. And even made food baskets for our friends that were college students which was awesome and they loved it! Santa also came which was awesome and they were all VERY excited to see Santa san. Also got to eat Christmas cake for the first time which is another made up tradition that japan does and thinks we do in America. But it was so bussin.
Knocking Doa's
We have a クリスマス特別集会 next Sunday. Which just means Special Christmas Meeting! And I didn't think much of it... But I've never seen so much success while housing. And it was very nice because most the time you go for a few hours and at each home don't make it to your second sentence. But the Christmas season is different! And that brought so much joy to me getting to atleast have a few people say they'll take a flyer.
I loved Luke 2:10 this week. Our ward made cute little cards with that scripture on it. And I loved the straight joy you can feel from the little message of good tidings for all! I'm so grateful for Christ in my life.
Love you all!!
Also Daniel got back this last week!!! That is so crazy to think about. Love ya Dan
