Feels like 2020 again
This week was all over the place but lots of good stuff happened. On Friday my companion started feeling sick so we had to go to the hospital. It was nothing crazy, but turns out he has covid. So we have to stay in the apartment for 4-5 days. So it's gonna be a party for us before Christmas. Because all the time we have, we made a pinball machine which is pretty lit. Last night one of our friends bought us some KFC and Christmas cake, which is what all Japanese people eat on Christmas so that was amazing of her! And was very yummy.
Nayoro Stuff this WeekWe went to the University city next to us almost everyday. We had basketball Tuesday which was awesome. Then a Christmas party with our college English circle and a presentation on Wednesday. The presentation was one of our friends presenting to what looked like a bunch of important people about her trip to Mongolia which sounded really cool. And then Badminton on Thursday. But when we went for Badminton we got told by security were not aloud to join their circles because we're not students. So it's crazy how long missionaries have been going but just were never asked. So that is really sad because we've made more friends there lately. But luckily I think they still want us at their English circle so that will be good. We actually gave a Light the World poster to our friend that runs the English circle at the University. And she loved the Christmas Tree on it so she hung it up in the college at the entrance which was awesome haha. It was just free advertisement.Transfer Calls! And the other news this week was for next transfer! Me and my companion Rollins長老 are moving to that university city Nayoro. But we are both getting new companions and becoming a quad. We both are gonna be trainers for our new companions also which will be fun. My new companion’s name is Yamada長老 and he is an athlete which will be dope. And they come the day after Christmas next week!MiracleOne of the days this week we went to the city center building in Nayoro. And we're looking for service but didn't really know what to do. But as we were walking in I saw one of our Members about to walk in, and she was so happy to see us. And I think she works there, and she brought us right to the desk and said we were volunteer missionaries from her church. And that was just such a blessing and made me so happy also how proud she was to say we were from her church. So that was awesome and we found some service we can do when we move there!ScriptureI loved John 14:27 this week. I know Christ is where we can find peace. And I have seen this in my life so much lately! I hope you all can too!Merry Christmas Everyone!!メリークリスマス!Love you all!-ラ-キンス長老
