Hand Chickens!

 

I had a harder week this week for sure but there were still so many good things and blessings that came! 

Nayoro University

We got to go to the University in Nayoro twice this week. For English which was awesome and some of them came to our Thanksgiving Party and Badminton and we met like 5 guys who are friends and played with then the whole time and they are really cool.

Thanksgiving 

Our Thanksgiving Party was SOO LIT! We had like 7 friends come which was so cool. And they all loved the idea of Thanksgiving, and it was so amazing seeing our friends and members just hanging out. We made hand turkeys and they all thought it was so funny. But the best one by far was まさ姉妹 because she thought it would be hilarious to write "Chicken" on it. She is 88 yrs old and is the biggest joker around. Oh yea she's the one that slapped me like last week.

Scripture Study with 矢萩さん！

We have a lesson each week with one of our friends. And she loves reading the Bible and now the Book of Mormon too. Which is so cool, but she just struggles with how to study. So we did a lesson on studying. And that's where I found that just saying anything that I can helps. 

The first bit of the lesson I didn't say a word and was just stressing about how I could help. When it was some pretty deep Japanese about how to study.

But I remembered my mom talking to me about 2 Nephi 32 on our call earlier this week. So I jumped in and shared that because I could tell she was talking about a good feeling she got from studying. And that chapter is all about Feasting upon the words of Christ and you will feel the Holy Ghost. 

After that moment I myself could feel the spirit and knew that through little things I can be a help even when I feel like I can't speak.

This scripture we shared for a Thanksgiving message!! Our friends and members loved the message it shares about being thankful. And we will feel so much more joy.
