New Year in Japan!

What's up everyone! It was a really weird week because of 正月 (New Year). Which is all week here. So we were really aloud to do missionary work because we couldn't go to members houses unless invited and could knock doors or do streeting. So we had to get pretty creative with things to do. But we had some really cool experinces this week.

Shrines
One of the things we could do was actually just go to Shrines because thats apart of the culture. And so we went and it was really cool to see all the differences. We got to ring a bell and do some cool prayers.

Uber Eats
One of the days we made a ton of cookies. And me and my companion went to Nayoro and the other Elders stayed in Shibetsu. And we walked them to all the members and friends we have. And that day was crazy because we couldn't knock on their doors but walked all over the town for about 4 hours to hand them out. We were dying bye the end of it. And I miss having a bike.

Housing!
On Saturday it was okay to actually do a little bit of housing just if it wasn't dark. So that's basically what we did all day. And it was snowing like crazy. But we actually got to share a message with two different people in their genkans. And we got to share about this life's purpose. And testify of Jesus Christ. These two people were just a ginormous light to me. Because of people like them it really helps me keep that motivation that we will find those that the lord has prepared for us.

Scripture
Matthew 24:35
I love this short scripture that earthly things will pass away. But Christ's words won't. That we can't procrastinate following Christ. But we have to repent and try our best everyday.

Happy New Year everyone!! Hope you can all set goals for yourself this year. And always try to be the light. See you next year!!

Love you all!
