Balled up⛹️‍♂️💃

We had another good week. It went by really fast, but it was good still. We had some good visits with members and it reminded me how cool our members really are.  

Lessons

The first member we visited is the only active member in her family right now. And when we walked in the house it was just full of smoke. But she tried cleaning up a little area so we could sit on their couch. We got to share a message about prayer, and she shared about how she is always praying or her husband and telling him that the church is a good thing. And he needs to stop smoking haha. But yea she's a trooper.

We got to teach our friend who is getting baptized soon twice this week. And it's really cool because she keeps saying how she is more happy right now than she ever has been in her life. And she feels like she has a purpose again. So that's been really amazing to see.

Bball Tourney

We got to play in a tournament this weekend. And it was a Saturday Sunday tournament. So I felt like I was 13 again on my travel basketball team telling the coach that I don't play on Sundays haha. But they all understood. Also at half time it's like tradition for the players to go outside and smoke I guess, so they did that but I got to tell them about the word of wisdom after which was lit. I don't think it really worked cause they were still smoking after the game too but i guess it takes time sometimes. But yea we won 120 - 40 so that was kinda crazy too. And we got to talk to a ton of people that were watching after the game about why we were there so that was really cool too.

Scripture

I was reading Luke 12 the other day and I loved verses 31 and 32. God wants all of his children to return to him. And all he asks is for us to have a desire and seek. There are so many more treasures in Heaven for us then we can imagine here. So that's made me really happy lately to get to share about this with our friends.

Time is flying by like crazy! But I'm loving it here in Japan. It's hard still feeling absolutely wrecked in the language but there is always joy to be felt from Christ's gospel!
