BAPTISM WEEK!!

This was an awesome week!! And today is St Patrick's day so that's sick, cause no one here new why we were pinching them. But yea we had the Baptism which was like the coolest thing that's happened on my mission yet! And we had a lunch thing with the branch after church which was so bussin. And then also went to like this really weird like culture class thing, but it was cool.

But yea first up the Baptism!! Our Mission president and the stake president came from Sapporo. So it was really cool having our new member get to meet them. And she was so joyful all day. And the blow up font was literally like hot tub temperature which was pretty nice. And everything went really smooth which was good. And the next day at her confirmation at church the branch president gave an amazing blessing. And it was just so many awesome moments with the spirit so strong all weekend.

And after church we had that lunch thingy. And they brought soo much yaku Soba and cookies and ice cream and soup and rice. And we got to cook up for them which was pretty fun. They were surprised we knew how to cook the stuff too. Even though it has like 4 steps.

Culture circle

And the weird culture thing was like 15 random people from the Philippines and Nepal and Canada. And they all are learning Japanese but have been here a while. And the Japanese was actually some pretty hard words but it was really cool to just get to learn with everyone. The teacher is Japanese but is married to a white guy who works at the college and he's pretty cool. He's just kinda suspicious of us. But yea that was chill.

Scripture

I really loved this scripture we read in church this week. It was D&C 21:6 and it talks about us having Faith in Christ. And if we do then the gates of he'll will not be held against us. But that heaven will shake before us. And I've been thinking about it, like the heavens shaking above us and just dropping blessings everywhere for us. We are so blessed when we follow Christ. And I have seen this in so many ways while being in Japan trying to do so.
