Hey yall! This was another dope week. We had Zone Confrence in Sapporo so that was fun getting to go and go to the temple the next day too. It had only been 2 months but felt like forever since I had last gone. Definitely blessed tho to have a Temple here.
Nayoro
It felt like not much happened just because we had to travel a lot. But we found out we are getting a building in Nayoro soon so that group will be able to start and we will be able to start game nights there which is exciting. And the college students come back from break around that same time so that's gonna be exciting. And me and the other 3 Elders here think we are all staying so I'm excited to hopefully be able to be here for all that.
Lessons
We've been praying for our friend, because we have a few more things to teach her before baptism next week. And some of them we thought could maybe be hard. But she was able to understand them all even with our not so great Japanese. And she has committed to keeping them. So I know that God is watching over us and helping us during this journey with her.
カーター長老's Bday!
Japanese people go crazy over birthdays. We texted the English Class chat saying we had class and would celebrate my comps birthday after. And pretty much everyone came and even the lady who hasn't come since I've been here came and dropped off a bag of snacks for him and then left because her child was sick. But that reminded me how much I really love the people here, and the kindness and willingness they all have.
Scripture
I loved this scripture we shared with a friend this week. She is being baptized on the 15th. And we were reading 3 Nephi 11. And the verse 37 really caught my eye. I love how Christ teaches to be like a child. And it reminds me of the simple ness of the gospel. And the joy we can all recieve.
