Easter Week!!πŸ‡

This week was really special, we got to talk to friends and random people countless times about the meaning of Easter. The people here hear the word but don't know why we would celebrate it. And we got to invite so many friends to come this week to celebrate with us this weekend at church.

Ryousuke Fam!
First off we did get to hang out with Ryousuke and his family. We had Shabu Shabu with them. Which was my first time and it was gas, but then before we ate they remembered that we like to pray before eating so we were able to pray with them. And talk to them about Easter!

Next we were walking the other day from one members home to another and we came across a building that i had recognized. She was a older Catholic women who hadn't been to church in years. So we knocked the door connected to the company building, and luckily that was her home! She forgot who we were but that was fine because we got to have a nice conversion of why we are here. And then talk about Easter with her. And she had no idea we had a church in Shibetsu. But we invited her to the Easter party. She didn't end up coming but still got hope for her!!

Member Missionary!!
When we visited Sister Higashi this week she told us that she actually visited like all her neighbors and gave out flyers for our Easter Party. And right after we had English class. And in the end we shared scriptures about Christ's Atonement. And with one of our friends confused a bit Sister Higashi explained all of Easter to her. And then preceded to open up the Book of Mormon with a new friend who just lost a family member. And she explained how Christ's Atoning sacrifice will help her see that family member again. Sister Higashi is the best Missionary ever!

Spiritual
Matthew 28:5-6 is a Scripture that I really liked this Easter holiday.

5. And the angel answered and said unto the women, Fear not ye: for I know that ye seek Jesus, which was crucified.
6 He is not here: for he is risen, as he said. Come, see the place where the Lord lay.

Something I really loved is that the word for Easter in Japanese has the kanjis εΎ©ζ΄»η₯ which mean restore, living, celebrate. And whenever we asked people if they actually knew the meaning of Easter they wouldn't know but we could show them the kanji and tell them that this was Christ who was ressurected. And on this day we celebrate a living God, and it was special for me everytime we got to share this amazing message with people. So I hope you can all feel the greatness of this too!

Love you all!! Hope you had an amazing Easter! Christ lives, and loves each and every one of you!
