も名寄にいる！

 

へーローeveryone! This week was pretty good. It was Golden week, which I dont really know what that means but its another sort of holiday, and they have a lot of companies on break. Just did finding and some visits with friends and our new member since 2 elders were leaving. 

 

And then we went to Sapporo and got our new companions. My new companion is a dawg, hes the funniest guy. And works really hard in all the work we do.  

Farmer boys

We went to a freinds farm this week in Shimokawa which is a really small city. But we were able to clean up almost their whole field for more asparagus to grow. And it was finally warmer so we all got absolutely fried with sunburns. But it was worth it. The friend took us out for lunch and we were able to tell her a lot more about us as missionaries and about the Book of Mormon. Hoping she will read it and find the power that comes through reading it.

Other than that not a lot of really interesting stuff happened. But this next week should be more back to normal with no travel and no Golden Week. 

Spiritual!

I really liked this scripture from Moroni 7 this week, its verse 26 and says

And after that he came men also were saved by faith in his name; and by faith, they become the sons of God. And as surely as Christ liveth he spake these words unto our fathers, saying: Whatsoever thing ye shall ask the Father in my name, which is good, in faith believing that ye shall receive, behold, it shall be done unto you.

This really struck me when I came across it. Because God does love us and he wants to bless us, he wants to provide joy. But it is all through our Faith in the son, Jesus Christ, that we will be able to find that Eternal, most enduring Joy in the end.
