FUREN week
Another crazy fast week this week... finally got a hair cut which was nice. And then we went to Sapporo for Zone confrence and Temple day. It was all super good. Trainings were great and the temple was just amazing. It's so pretty, and I really do just get the most peaceful feeling while inside.
Okinawa kingWe had a awesome Family home evening this week. And one of our members brought her brother who isn't a member and lives in Okinawa. And he was the coolest dude ever. And we are gonna get him hooked up with the missionaries down south so they can keep meeting with him.W FURENMe and my companion wanted to go visit less active members and knock doors in the really tiny town called Furen. Took the train there, found a dope shrine, it had a golf hole in the lawn which wad sick. Went and found one of the old members who said she hasn't been going to church for about 40 years. The other member we think moved a couple years ago. Knocked a bunch of doors and the people there were actually like so nice. We got to share a few messages, and hopefully we can go back some day to check up on those.SPORTS NIGHTHad a sports night which was pretty cool. We had like 25 friends there and just hung out. Got some new people we hadn't really met come. Hopefully we can get some of them to come to church soon.SpiritualThis week I listened to Sister Runia's talk from this last confrence. I loved this part."The invitation to repent is an expression of God’s love. Saying yes to that invitation is an expression of ours."I love trying to be my best. But yea I'm never close to having a perfect day. But the opportunity to be able to repent is such a blessing! And I know we really can be made clean through Christ's Atonement!I love you all! Hope u are all having great lives!! Life as a missionary is straight joy!-ラーキンス長老
