we staying....3

Hey Everyone! We had another good week. First off we had a mission tour!! And found out also that I'm staying in my area with my comp but gaining a third person which will be fun, I'm excited to be in a trio for a bit again.  

We had 3 lessons with our gma this week she is loving the gospel and the Book of Mormon. Her testimony of Christ is so strong, so it has been very smooth always to be able to teach her. We had a lesson after church with her. And the mission president's wife joined the lesson with us.(which was kinda stressful), but she was awesome and we had a great lesson. 

We played some bball this week. The team wants me at the tournament so I made some account on JBA which is no sadly not the NBA of Japan. But it is the biggest tournament for clubs I guess. We play someone in about 2 weeks to see who will represent the city. And if we win we go to Hakodate which is pretty far, but mission pres said he would let us run an exchange there in Hakodate so we can play. So yea we gotta get a W.

Spiritual

Even with all the fun and cool things I get to do here like sports, the highlight of the week was still 100% the mission tour from Elder Esplin of the 70. He and his wife gave an amazing training to us, and they talked all about the week leading up to the Atonement of Christ. It was really amazing and strengthened my testimony more than ever about Christ and the things he did on this earth for us and his living presence now. 

And I love this scripture from the Joseph Smith translation of Matthew 23 and 24. Verse 48

"Therefore be ye also ready, for in such an hour as ye think not, the Son of Man cometh."

I'm grateful for the testimony I've been able to grow about the knowledge for myself that I know Christ lives and will return some day.
